Writing Question of the Week: Music

Happy Monday, fellow freelancers! I do hope your weekend was teriffic, and to all the father's out there, I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day.

This week's writing question: Do you listen to music when you write? If so, what kind of music helps you relax and get into writing mode?

If you don't listen to music, why not? Does it prevent you from concentrating?

I'm very interested to hear your feedback. It might seem like an odd question, but I'd like to open up some dialogue and hear what you have to say.

Best Wishes,

Denise

Writing Question of the Week: Writing Goals

It's barely mid-week and I'm exhausted. The new puppy loves keeping me up during the middle of the night... he doesn't realize that it's not play time at 3 am.

So, my question to you this week (I've missed a few weeks, I know. Sue me?):

What are your writing goals? Have they remained the same since you began writing professionally, or have they evolved into something different?

I'd love to hear your feedback. I know that my goals have changed considerably since I started this career, but I still have a few of the same goals that I've always had in my mind since I was a child.

Thank you in advance, and I look forward to reading your comments.

Denise
